Farmhouse. 1796. Red brick in flemish bond with painted ashlar
dressings and coursed limestone rubble side and rear, concrete
tiled roof with stone kneeler and one gable and one ridge stack.
2 storey with attics, 3 bay front with ashlar plinth and dogtooth
eaves course. Central 6 panelled door with traceried fanlight,
panelled wood reveals and architraves, covered by metal latticed
porch with ogee canopy, in the Gothick taste, flanked by single
Venetian glazing bar sash windows, with fanlights to the heads of
the taller central panels. To first floor is a central glazing
bar sash with traceried semi-circular head, flanked by single
Venetian windows. The windows have key and impost blocks in
painted wood. In the roof are 2 tripartite dormer sashes with
rendered cheeks and flat lead roofs. To right is a lower service
wing containing a glazing bar sash and a planked door. To left
of front are 2 C20 added bays which are in separate occupation
and are not included in the list. The rear elevation in coursed
squared limestone rubble has a 2 storey canted bay with glazing
bar sashes, with to right a 6 panelled door with traceried
fanlight, plain stone surround with key block. Beyond again a
window of 2 fixed lights with cambered head having voussoirs and
key block. To first floor is a single similar window with to
left a second window with semi-circular head and key block.
