TF 08 SW SPRIDLINGTON

2/70 Farm buildings at
Elms Farm House

G.V. II

Pigeoncote, stables and barn. Late C18. Coursed limestone
rubble with brick dressings and pantile roofs with one brick wall
stack. Irregular 8 bay front, the left hand 6 bays of 2 storeys,
2 trays to the right of 3. A wide segmental headed waggon arch
has to left a single window and a first floor opening with a
wooden lintel. To right 2 planked doors, a window, a further
door and a further window. To first floor 2 open windows and 3
blocked. To third floor 2 further smaller blocked window
openings. All window and door openings have brick segmental
heads, the windows are louvred. Right hand side elevation has a
blocked window and doorway to ground floor and to first floor a
large semi-circular headed opening with brick impost and
keyblocks and wooden flight holes. There is a fire insurance
plaque on the pigeoncote.
