House. Late C18 with early C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed
limestone rubble with brick and ashlar quoins and dressings,
slate roof with raised brick coped gables, 2 brick gable stacks.
L-plan. 2 storey with attics, 3 bay front, brick dogtooth eaves
course. To left is a single bay single storey C20 addition.
Central C20 glazing bar doorway with plain overlight in flush
ashlar surround, flanked by single bows having wide glazing bar
windows, moulded cornices and parapets. To first floor are 3
glazing bar sashes. All openings have segmental heads with flush
ashlar surrounds. In the roof are 3 glazing bar 2 light casement
dormers with lead cheeks and segmental roofs. To rear is a C19 2
storey wing containing a panelled door having a stone architrave
and pediment with a tripartite window above with 4 further bays
of sash windows.
