9/23 Mexborough House

30-11-66 II

House. C18 with early C19 alterations. Coursed limestone
rubble, stucco dressings, concrete pantile hipped roof with 2
wall stacks. T-plan. 2 storey, 3 bay front with central glazed
door and 3 pane overlight covered by a Doric porch with
entablature.Flanked by single glazing bar sashes and to first
floor are 3 similar windows ,the central one of which is rather
narrower than the others. All windows have slightly segmental
heads with splayed lined stucco lintels.
