Old Post Cottage

House, now 2 cottages. Early C18, C19, C20. Red brick. Pantile
roofs with shaped west gable, coped gables with kneelers, gable
stack, 2 ridge stacks and gable stack to rear. L-plan, adapted
to F-plan in C20. 2 storey, 5 irregular bay north front with
plinth, first floor band and decorated eaves. Doorway to left in
brick gabled porch with segmental head and plank door. 3 light
sliding sash to left with segmental head, 2 three light sliding
sashes to right, that to the far right with segmental head. 5
sliding sashes with wooden lintels above. East front of 2
storeys and garret, 2 bays with plinth, first floor band and
decorated eaves. 2 large fixed glazing bar windows with
segmental heads. 2 sliding sashes above with C20 shutters. C20
extension to rear. Interior of Mellow Cottage with beamed
ceilings and inglenook fireplaces, one with chamfered beam.
