Pair of cottages. Late C17 with C19 alterations. Painted red
brick with pantile roof having axial stack and coursed limestone
rubble and render in rear wing. Lobby entry. T-plan. Single
storey with attics, 5 bay front with first floor band. Left hand
cottage has a central planked door flanked by single tripartite
glazing bar sashes. Right hand cottage has planked door with to
right a single similar window. In the roof are 3 gabled dormers
with 2 light sliding sashes having brick gables and planked
cheeks. Interior retains chamfered girders with simple stops and
a moulded mantle.
