4/40 Willow Tree Farm
House and barn

II

Farmhouse. Late C18 with C20 alterations. Red brick in English
garden wall bond of 3. Pantile roof with single axial brick
stack. Lobby entry plan. 2 storey originally 3 bay front having
dog tooth eaves course and off centre doorway, now blocked,
flanked by single C20 3 light casements. To first floor are 2
similar windows and a Yorkshire fire insurance plaque dated 1824
and depiciting York Minster. In build with the house is a small
barn on the right hand side with full height double doors and a
clasped purlin roof.
