Nos 2 and 3
TF 2421 1/73 2.7.74.

Mid C18. 2 storeys and attics in brick with 2 gabled dormers and moulded wood
eaves cornice. 5 windows to 1st floor, stucco keystones, the 2 to the left have
plain iron balconies, the 2 to the right have shaped blind cases, hung sashes
with glazing bars. Pedimented doorway with large console brackets. Door of
6 panels in panelled reveals and under rectangular fanlight. The other occupancy
has a similar pedimented doorway, with 1/2 glazed door set back. Early C19 shop
front with panelled risers and modern glazing.

Nos 2 to 4 (consec) and the White Lion Public House form a group.
Also forms a group with Nos 4, 2 to 4 (consec) Church Gate and the High Bridge,
Bridge Street.
