G.V. II
House. Early C18, extended 1811 and raised late C19. Red brick
in Flemish bond, pantile and slate roof, red brick gable stacks.
The original cottage to the left is of 3 bays, with an added
first floor, having half glazed door, flanked by single plain
sashes, all with segmental brick heads. To first floor 2 similar
glazing bar sashes. The added taller 2 storey bay of 1811 has
plain sash to ground floor and glazing bar sash to first floor.
Below the ground floor window a brick is inscribed and dated
1811. Contemporary fluted niches to the room within.
