C18. Formerly called The Fox and Hounds, a coaching inn. Two storeys. Two
windows. Painted brick, tiled roof. Two canted bays on ground floor, and
ground floor extension to west with a third bay. Doorway with rectangular
fanlight and flat hood on carved brackets. Three windows in upper storey,
centre one blocked. Glazing bars intact. Tiled, gabled, roof. Modern extension
to east. Further to east, weatherboarded outhouse, canted towards street,
with bargeboards to gable end.
