Rebuilt by Edwin Nash, architect. Aisled nave 1850-2; chancel 1871; north-west
tower with shingled broach spire 1857. Ragstone; wooden north porch. Geometrical
tracery; the east window with alternate wide and narrow lights. Richly furnished
interior, with monuments from former church, including one by Chantrey; pulpit
dated 1637; stalls, reliefs, paintings attributed to Gessi and cusped arch
to organ chamber.
