Architects C G Butler and J C S Souter. An almshouse type layout in purple brown
brick with red brick dressings. Two storeys. Hipped roofs. Sash windows, with
transomes. Centre feature of each block projects and contains pedimented 2 light
dormers, with supporting side lights. The doorways have architraves and bracketted
hoods. Included for layout and grouping as well as design.
