At road side, once within grounds of "The Grove" (qv). Late C17 Gate House gates
entry now gone; one window wide to road. Horizontal sliding sash window to side.
Steps externally, to raised floor, cellar under at rear. Red brick with tiled roof.
Brick wall partly C18. 8 ft high. Mostly built mid C20 after the demolition of the
Priory which fronted the road. Included for group value.
