Late C18 weatherboarded cottages (Ridge Cottage, brick faced), cream washed. Two
storeys, one window, forming a somewhat irregular but very picturesque group. The
butcher's shop which was established over 100 years ago is 2 storeys, 2 windows with
a weatherboarded shop built out at the front. Roofs are part tile and part slate.
