Modern building included only for late C17 carved and inscribed stones set in flank wall facing Panyer Alley Steps. Upper stone has relief of naked boy sitting on pannier. Lower stone inscribed:-

'When yu have sought
The Citty Round
Yet still tho is
The highest Ground
August the 27 1688.'
