1858 by Sydney Smirke. Gault brick with rusticated stone ground floor and stone window surrounds, sill bands, and cornice. Four storeys, eleven bays symmetrically composed with central entrance and two bay terminal projections. Central doorway with rusticated stone surround, keystone and cornice. Window and door openings segment-headed, doorways with gas lamps on simple cast iron brackets. Stone cornice with brick blocking course over. Elevation to Hare Court, yellow stock brick, gauged brick arches, stone string course and cornice.
