Includes Nos 1 to 5 (odd) Moorgate. 1906, by Mountford and Gruning. Stone faced,
classical; 4 main storeys and attic; front to Lothbury of 5 major bays; curved
corners to returns at either end. Banded base with round headed windows within
deep splayed reveals, 1st, 2nd, 3rd floors, centres to main elevation and returns,
recessed and united by attached unfluted Ionic columns. Plain frieze and bracketted
cornice. Attic storey - that to Lothbury with flanking 2 storey pavilions with
segmental pediments.
