Includes No 39, Bucklersbury. 1869 by R H Moore. Commercial building in elaborate
Gothic style. 5 storeys. Gault brick and painted stone. Ground floor,modern
shopfront. 1st floor, 4 segmental headed windows with corbel table over. 2nd
floor, stilted segmental headed windows with iron window guards, brick piers between
with foliated capitals. Roundels with sculpted heads. 3rd floor windows with
semi-circular moulded brick arches on gothic shafts, pointed arch hood moulds over,
iron window guards. 4th floor, 7 linked stilted segmental headed windows, brick
piers between with attached colonettes with foliated capitals. Enriched corbelled
cornice over.
