Late C19. Stone building in modified Renaissance style, 10 bays wide, 4 storeys
plus stone dormers to slated mansard. Entrances to Nos 14 and 18 flanked by pilasters
of polished pink granite, similar pilasters between Individual shop units. Arcuated
treatment to fenestration of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors. Tall slender chimneys with
bracketed cornices.
