Dated 1873, by Ernest George and Vaughan (?) Severe building of yellow and red
brick, Portland stone and grey granite, in simplified gothic style. 4 storeys.
Rectangular openings to stone ground storey with columns to 3 light southern windows,
iron gate to passage and grille to northern window. 2, mullioned windows and date
stone to 1st floor, 3 windows above, with decorated frieze and small cornice.
Plain, rear elevation of yellow brick with decorated segmental window arches and
cornice below top storey. Interior includes staircase and panelled boardroom.
