C1720 3 storey. Houses with basement and roof storey. Brick front elevation (painted)
each 2 windows wide with C19 shopfront windows have gauged segmental arches, flush frames
and vertical double hung sashes. Rear elevations altered, with early tripartite case-
ment window to workshop. Interior of No 25 largely intact; entrance hall has panelled
dado and partition, stair panelled dado with moulded closed strings, turned balusters
and newels; first floor front room has timber box cornice, ovolo moulded panelling,
barrel-backed china cupboard with sculpted shelves and arched opening, early C19
chimneypiece. Rear room has splayed chimneybreast and similar features to front, but
is divided. Second floor rooms have plain panelling with moulded dado rail and archi-
traves, and early C19 chimneypieces. Interior of No 24 with similar staircase, but
rooms not seen.
