C17 red brick walls articulated by buttresses with tapered tops. Some later
repairs to upper pouts. These are boundary walls of former burying ground;
and ranks of old tombstones line them. The area extends Eastward to St Alfege
passage (qv) and that part of the Eastern wall which runs along that street is
listed under it.
