Circa 1840 villa of 2 storeys and basement, 3 windows. Hipped roof of moderately
low pitch has eaves soffit with paired brackets. Multicoloured stock brick with
stuccoed front. Plain reveals to sash windows with glazing bars. 7 steps, with
cast iron handrail, to prostyle Doric porch with fluted columns and pilasters.
Door of 2 flat and 4 fielded panels. Garage opening in basement at left. Louvred,
external shutters added to windows. No 59A. Contemporary coachhouse converted
into residence. 2 storeys, 3 windows. Stuccoed front with parapet. 3 recessed
panels in parapet above windows, which are recessed sashes with glazing bars.
Imported door of 2 flat and 4 fielded panels, with cornice head and modern patterned
fanlight, in moulded architrave. Fluted frieze with paterae at angles and dentil
cornice over. Reproduction Regency bow window at ground floor centre.
