Late C18 house of 2 storeys and basement, 5 windows. Yellow brick. Stone mutule
cornice and brick parapet concealing roof. Narrow band at 1st floor cills and
wider band at 1st floor level. Gauged, flat brick arches to sash windows in
stucco-lined reveals. Basement plinth. 3 steps to wide stylobate of imported
prostyle porch. Frieze and capitals ornamented with leaves, garlands and paterae.
Behind and above this can be seen round arched door opening. Door of 6 panels
with cornice head and patterned, radial fanlight, in panelled reveal. Moulded
architrave to head has lion mask on keystone and rests on impost blocks continuous
with cornice head of door. Wrought iron area railings at either side of porch.
On East return a canted bay, full height of house with cast iron balcony on
ground floor. 2-storey set back left wing has circular 1st floor window with
decorative leading.

Nos 23 to 45 (odd) form a group.
