No 32 Circa l100, 3 storeys attic and basement, 3 windows. High pitched roof
renewed in machine tile, with flat dormers. Rendered front with parapet and
plinth. 2nd floor, sash windows with glazing bars; 1st floor sash windows with
margin lights; ground floor late C19 sash windows all in old flush frames. Cl9
door of 2 large, plain panels with rectangular fanlight. Inside an original
staircase with twist balusters and square newels. RCHM.
No 34 Circa 1700 with alterations. 3 storeys and basement, 3 windows. High
pitched, tiled roof. Brown brick with parapet. 2nd floor brick band in 2 plaqnes.
Stuccoed basement. Gauged, flat brick arches to recessed sash windows with glazing
bars in stucco-lined reveals. Door of 6 fielded panels. Patterned fanlight
of plate type with small, radial panelled pilasters with round arches. Projecting,
gabled wing, on North side, of 3 storeys one window. Rendered, with angle pilasters
to ground floor, 1st floor band and plinth. Sash windows with glazing bars,
recessed on 1st and 2nd floors, that on 1st floor 3-light with round head to
centre light, giving Venetian effect. Ground floor window in near-flush moulded
frame.
All the listed buildings on the West Side of Crooms Hill from Nos 6 to 46 (even)
and Nos 38 and 40 form a group.
