Circa 1840. 3½ storeys, 3 windows on front. Greyish yellow stock bricks, stucco
dressings. Parapet with stuccoed blocking course above ½-storey defined by
sunk panelled brick pilasters. Through 1st and 2nd floors 4 tall brick pilasters,
with stucco capitals support main entablature with stucco cornice and brick
blocking course. Moulded architraves, to sash windows with glazing bars, those
on 2nd floor shouldered. 1st floor windows have stucco frieze, cornice and pediment.
Ground floor modernised with tiles but retains modillion cornice. 5-bay return
to Roan Street. Bays divided 1:3:1, with 4 pilasters and entablature. Windows
in centre part have no architraves; but those on 1st floor have round arched
stucco tympana over, with moulded architraves and spring string. 5-bay North
return with Doric pilasters as on main front. Slightly recessed 3-bay centre
section under pediment with polychrome relief mitre and bands in tympanum. 1st
floor side windows 3-light with segmental arched recesses over.
