Second quarter of C19. Terrace, each house 3 storeys and sunk basement, 2 windows.
Yellow stock brick. Stucco frieze, cornice and parapet. All but No 43 have
lost cornices by bomb damage and these have been replaced in rudimentary fashion.
Gauged, flat brick arches to recessed sash windows with glazing bars in stucco-lined
reveals. Banded, rusticated, stuccoed ground floor with blocking course as cill
band of 1st floor windows. Ground floor openings round arched with moulded
architraves, keystones and impost blocks. Door of 4 or 6 panels with cornice
heads and semicircular fanlights. No 37 has small cast iron balconies to 1st
floor windows.

Nos 37 to 43 (odd) form a group with Nos 45 to 63 (odd).
