1840 terrace. Unified composition rising up hill and rounding shallow curve
in 3 stages of 4 houses. Each house 3 storeys and basement, 2 windows. Multicoloured
stock brick with stucco cornice and blocking course concealing roof. Inscription
in blocking course of 2 centre houses (Nos 14 and 16) "18 HAMILTON TERRACE 40".
Stucco 1st floor cill band with recesses above at party walls. Stuccoed basement.
Gauged, flat brick arches to sash windows witl glazing bars, those on ground
floor wider. Some sashes replaced. 3 steps, with wrought iron handrails, to
doors of 4 or 6 panels, with cornice heads and semicircular fanlights (some patterned)
in round arched recesses.

Nos 4 to 36 (even) form a group.
