Nos 56 and 58 Early-mid C18 pair. Each 3 storeys and basement, 2 windows. Reddish-brown
brick with rebuilt parapet concealing hipped, pantiled roofs with ridges at right
angles to road. New brickwork at South angle. Gauged, red brick arches to sash
windows with glazing bars (renewed except for 3 original 2nd floor windows) in
flush, moulded frames. Doors of 2 flat and 4 fielded panels, with reeded cornice
heads and rectangular fanlights (No 56 patterned), under renewed cornice hoods
on curved brackets.
No 60. 3 storeys and sunk basement, 2 windows. Early-mid C18. Painted brick
front concealing hipped, pantiled roof, wmth ridge at right angles to road, behind
parapet. Gauged flat brick arches to replaced, recessed sash windows with glazing
bars. Ground floor windows wider and with added louvred external shutters. Door
of 2 flat, 2 fielded and 2 glazed panels under renewed cornice hood on curved
brackets.
No 62. Early C19 front of 3 storeys and sunk basement, 2 windows, to house probably
of similar period to Nos 56-60. Low pitched slate roof with moulded and modillioned
eaves cornice. Stuccoed front with both windows in rounded bow the full height
of house. Replaced, straight sash windows with glazing bars set into original
near-flush curved, moulded frames. Door of 2 flat, 2 fielded and 2 glazed panels,
with cornice head and rectangular patterned fanlight, under dentilled cornice
hood on curved brackets.
No 64. Early-mid C18 house of 3 storeys, 2 windows, with later 2-storey, 2-window
left addition. Moderate pitched hipped roof, now machine tiled, to left part,
roof of right part hidden by parapet. Painted brick front. Gauged brick arches
to early C19 recessed sash windows with glazing bars. Door of 2 flat, fielded
and 2 glazed panels under dentilled cornice hood on curved brackets. Small
lead horse on top of hood.

Nos 56 to 64 (even) form a group.
