1840-50. 3 storeys, 2 windows. Stucco. Rusticated pilasters support cornice
and parapet wmth flat pilasters carrying domed finials. 2nd floor cill band.
Moulded architraves to 2nd floor sash windows with glazing bars; flat surrounds
to 3 grouped round arched 1st floor windows with keystones, impost blocks and
bracketed common cill. Mid C19 ground floor shop fronts. Glazing altered but
bracketed cornice remains. 4-panel door on angle, with plain rectangular fanlight.
6-panel door with similar fanlight at rigt. Rounded, rebated south angle to
Turnpin Lane return. 5 windows, sashes with glazing bars (some replaced), those
in East bay blocked. Cornice and blocking course. Ground floor has pilasters
and modified entablature with a mid-late C19 shop front at either end and one
window between.

Nos 1 to 28 (consec) form a group.
