Circa 1840 terrace. Each 3 storeys, 2 windows. Stucco. Modified entablature
and blocking course. 2nd floor cill string. Heavy cornice at 1st floor cills.
Moulded architraves to 1st and 2nd floor sash windows (mostly with glazing bars,
some replaced), those on 1st floor shouldered. Ground floor windows in plain
reveals. No 43 has pediment shaped architraves to 1st floor windows. Cornice
heads and rectangular fanlights to doors flanked by pilasters in 2 planes with
oddly-designed capitals. Pilasters continue above capitals to cornice. Between
these 3 small raised stucco panels with ring moulding.

Nos 38 to 43 (consec) form a group.
