Nos 71 and 73. 2nd quarter of C19. Pair, each 2 storeys, attic and basement.
2 windows in centre block under pediment-like gable with 2 wide half-lunettes.
Soffit continuous with side eaves beneath slated roof of moderate pitch. No 71
has 2-storey and basement, 2 window, flush left entrance extension. No 73 has
2-storey, 1-window, set back right entrance extension, Walls stuccoed. Moulded
architraves to recessed sash windows, those of No 73 original with glazing bars.
10 steps to doors; that of No 71 has rectangular fanlight and is well set back
behind simple entablature surround. Similar surround to door of No 73, half
hidden by trellis porch with swept canopy. Similar trellised balconies on brackets
to ground floor windows of both houses.
Nos 75 and 77: Early-mid C19 pair in Michael Searles style. 2 storeys, attic
and basement, 2 windows each in main block under pediment with deep eaves and
soffit above 1st floor. Moderately low pitched slated roof. No 75 has 2-storey,
2-window left entrance extension with parapet front. No 77 has 2-storey, 1-window
right entrance extension under low pitched hipped slate roof with eaves soffit.
Stucco. 2-half lunettes in tympanum. Moulded architraves to sash windows some
with glazing bars, some replaced. Ground floor long sash windows open to trellised
wood balconies with swept roofs, No 77 of lead, No 75 now felted. No 75: 7 steps,
with stuccoed side walls, to door of 2 long panels with plain rectangular fanlight.
Simple entablature surround with deep cornice.
No 77: 8 steps to 4-panel door, the 2 upper panels glazed, with plain rectangular
fanlight in simple entablature surround.

Nos 63 to 89 (odd) form a group.
