1830-40. 3 storeys, 2 windows. Multicoloured stock brick with stucco parapet replacing former cornice and blocking course. Slightly rounded, recessed angle to 3-window return on Friendly Place. Gauged, flat brick arches to sash windows, with margin lights on 2nd floor and glazing bars on 1st floor. Complete original ground floor shop front. Double door in front, of 4 panels, has fanlight with margin lights. Plain fanlight to ½-glazed double door on angle. Fascia board has moulded cornice with egg and dart, and scrolled Brackets resting on panelled pilasters at outer corners. Narrow pilasters define doors. 6-pane shop windows
in front and 1 9-pane window on return, all with panelled stallrisers.
