Circa 1840 tall villa. 3 storeys and basement, 3 windows. Multicoloured stock
brick with painted front. Low pitched, hipped, slate roof concealed behind parapet.
Rusticated quoins with lion masks above. Similar masks at either side of slightly
projecting centre section; probably these supported a cornice, now missing.
Centre windows on both upper floors recessed sashes with glazing bars in plain
reveals. 2nd floor side windows 3-light sashes with glazing bars in flat, stucco
surrounds. 1st floor, ground floor and basement side windows in canted bays
holding 3 sash windows with glazing bars. Moulded cornices to tops of bays.
Continuous cornice at 1st floor level running round projecting, stuccoed Gothick
porch. 7 steps, with stuccoed side walls, to entrance under 4-centred arch with
drip mould. Similar arch to double door. Cornice head and fanlight with gothick
bars over.
