Early C18 pair. 3 storeys, attic and basement, 6 windows in all. High pitched,
hipped tiled roof with end chimneys. 2 segment arched dormers have early C19
sashes with delicate bars. Walls of brown brick with red brick dressings.
Slightly projecting 4-window centre section has red brick quoins as have the
brick angle pilasters. These support cornice band and parapet articulated by
5 small red brick pilasters. Moulded string at 2nd floor level, flat band at
1st floor level. Gauged segmental brick arches, with white keystones, to sash
windows with glazing bars in near-flush box frames. In centre 2 adjoining Doric
prostyle porches, with fluted columns and corresponding back pilasters, share
entablature with triglyph frieze and mutule cornice. 5 steps to doors with
6 fielded panels in upper part and 4 diagonally divided triangular fielded panels
below. Replaced wrought iron handrails.
