Late C18. Unified composition in multicoloured stock brick. No 17 in centre
4 storeys and basement under pediment with plaque "PARK PLACE 1791". Nos 16
and 18. 3 storeys and basement with parapets . Each house 2 windows, all with
gauged brick arches. Ground floor windows round headed, as are doors. Some windows
have original glazing bars, others are renewed, especially the ground floor windows
of Nos 16 and 18 which have elaborate glazing in heads. Band at 1st floor cills.
Small, wrought iron balconies to long 1st floor windows, those of No 17 in round
arched recesses. 8 steps (those of No 16 renewed in concrete) to 6-panel doors
with cornice heads and fanlights, that of No 17 altered. Cast iron handrails
to steps.
