Long range of 2-storey buildings in multicoloured stock brick, mid C18 and later.
a. East section, mid C18 with alterations. 5 windows, the 2 at left under
high pitched, hipped slate roof. 3 right bays project slightly under mid C19
gable of yellow stock brick. Gauged brick arches to slightly recessed sashes
with glazing bars. Mid C19 porch at right. Double door of 6 flat panels and
fanlight with glazing bars.
b. 16-window mid C18 section with later repairs in yellow stock brick. High
pitched, slate roof with brick cornice in several planes. Bays 4 to 8 under
wide pediment. Bays 12 to 16 have parapet front. Gauged brick arches to windows,
those in bays one to 3 early C19 sashes, some with glazing bars; those in bays
4 to 16 late c19 sashes. 2 late c19 canted bays on ground floor right. 2 4-panel
doors, at bays 6 and 12, the right one under mid-late C19 bracketed hood.
c. 2-storey, 2 window link from above to early C19 7-window section; and 1-storey
1-window further link at right. This section set back. Low pitched, hipped
slate roof. Ground floor painted. Loggia on 3 slender, fluted columns in front
of 2 left bays; 2 4-panel, mid C19 d within. Stucco 1st floor band. Gauged
brick arches to sash windows with glazing bars, some replaced. 2 more doors
to right of centre and one in right link.
d. Late C18 section of 14 windows. Rebuilt parapet over brick cornice in 3
planes. Hipped slate roof of moderate pitch. Brick 1st floor band. Bays 2
to 4 and 11 to 13 project slightly. Gauged brick arches to restored sash windows.
Several 4-panel doors with rectangular fanlights.
