Circa 1840 2-storey house with 7 windows on road front. Low pitched, gable
ended slated roof with deep eaves soffit continuing as cornice around ends. Gable
over 2nd and 3rd bays from left, which project slightly. Ground floor of right
5 bays projects and supports verandah with wrought iron railings between stuccoed
wall sections suggesting battlements. Walls all stuccoed. Section of balcony
under gable has stucco cut-work. On ground floor a loggia with wide openings
framed in cast iron screens. All windows 2 or 4 light casements with transoms.
½-glazed double door, in 2nd bay from right, under delicate wrought iron, trellis
porch with low, swept hood. Right rear section, of 3 storeys with canted end,
has sash windows and 2nd floor band continuous with cornice at end of main block.
Balcony on East wall of main block.
