Late C18. Two storeys plus slated mansard. Yellow brick and stucco. Single
storeyed wings with balustraded bays. Round-arched ground storey windows.
Pediment with decoration in relief. Eastern half of house now obscurred by
modern row of shops. East wing altered and north front now of no interest.
Four contemporary painted stone gate piers with rustication also included.
Included largely for historic interest. One of the existing Georgian houses
retained in the Bedford Park development. Lived in by Dr John Lindley, horticulturalist
in the early C19, and by Hamilton Fulton, engineer in the late C19.
