Earlier C19 pair of houses of 2 storeys plus basement; 2 bays with set-back
one bay wings; yellow stock brick, painted to No 28. Steps up to pilastered
stucco porticos with rosetted friezes. Fanlights over doors. Flat bay window
to ground floor with side lights and margined central window. Shallow segmental
arches to other windows with recessed barred sashes. Round-headed windows
with 'Y'-tracery to ground floor of wings. Slated hipped roofs.
