Early C19 public house, extended later C19. Earlier building of 2 storeys;
3 bays with single storey lean-to roofed wings; stucco. Central round-headed
entrance flanked by canted 3-light bay windows below continuous slate pitched
roof. Side lights to front of bays. Recessed flat headed barred sashed windows.
Hipped slate roof.
Rear block taller in yellow stock brick with pitched slate roof.
