Circa 1878. By R N Shaw, a variant on the published second semi-detached
design. Yellow and red brick with tiled roofs and coved eaves cornice. Two
storeys and attics. Flat door hoods. Large canted bays with timber railing
above. Hipped roof with gabled dormers. An example of the type of bay that
had to be abandoned due to cost. No 3 was the home of Canon J W Horsley in
