1849-51, by G Gilbert Scott. Large church; in Second Pointed Gothic style; flint
faced with stone dressings and tiled roofs, nave, aisles, chancel, south chapel north
and south porches, west tower with clasping diagonal buttresses and a shingled broach
spire. Conspicuous.
