CRUCIFORM CHURCH in Art-and-Craft Gothic style probably early C20. Red brick with
freestone dressings, green slate roof. North-east vestry extension; and north
west porch, in angle between chancel and transept, with swept roof and deep eaves.
At crossing leaded spire with deep eaves above low stage of bell-openings. East
windows paired and very long. Large south transept windows with reticulated tracery.
Some diapering of blue headers below. Two south doors (1 in porch) in deep, segient-head
headed reveals with hoodmoulds. An appearance of panelling is given to the soffits
by low stone brackets passing over moulded bands.
