Late C19 church in red brick with stone dressings and high pitched slated roof.
Cruciform with tall gabled south transept low pent aisles and an apsidal east
end. A short stone bell tower above western gable. 5 bay nave, windows groups
of 3 lancets, very tall and narrow, On north side a porch in transept position
and a chancel. chapel with apsidal end. Narrow proportions. 1 storey west extensions.
