No 92: 3 storey and basement, 2 window C18 building with later stucco. High pitched
Hipped slated roof. Parapet front. Recessed sash windows on ground and 1st floors,
plain modem casements above. Modern door with blocked fanlight. Wrought iron
area railings. G.L.C, blue plaque: "CHARIES DICKENS, 18l2-1870, author, stayed
here in1852".
Nos 94 and 96 a late C18 pair differing slightly. Stock brick, each 3 storeys
with tall parapet having balustrading in centre. No 94 has been stuccoed and
has 2 windows in main block on lst and 2nd floors and 1 window in projecting south
bay. On ground floor a late C19 square bay supports balcony behind which a 4
panel door in moulded architrave is recessed. All windows in moulded architraves,
some with ears and feet, those on lst floor under panelled frieze and pediment.
No 96 has 1 window on each floor of main block, tripartite sashes with glazing
bars, under shallow segmental gauged brick arches. Single windows in entrance
bay. Square bay on ground floor. Pedimented porch to door in moulded architrave.
