Early C19 pair, each house 3 storeys and basement, 2 windows in main block; with
set back 2 storey, 1 window entrance extensions. Stock brick with stone coped
parapet and band at 1st floor cills. Gauged, flat brick arches to recessed windows
in stucco-lined reveals, some sashes without bays, some C19 casements, 2 modern
easements. Arcaded ground floor resting on stone-coped basement plinth. At left
a door of 6 leaded panels with cornice head and patterned rectangular fanlight
in mid C19 doorcase of narrow panelled pilasters and cornice hood on paired brackets.
5 steps up. At right later C19 2 storey, 2 window extension with similar door
inserted. No 2A is a small 2 storey stuccoed extension at loft, with a trellis
porch and a brick garage, included because inseparable from No 2.
