Late C18 row of 4 timber-framed cottages and a former forge, of varying widths. All of 2 storeys. Two eastern cottages weatherboarded, 2 western ones pebble-dashed. Rear single storey lean-to extension. One central stack with subsidiary rear stacks. Sash windows throughout in the upper storey. Ground storey with variety of windows, including 1 shop front. Single storey extension to the east.
