1799 (dated on small cast-iron plaque on the front of the building). Three
bays, 2 storeys, stock brick. Ground floor shop fronts to Nos 215 and 215A,
modern window and door to No 217. Two first floor sashes with flush frames,
south window with recessed sash, all single-hung. Raised brick band above
1st floor brick parapet, axial stack, slate roof. South elevation has brick
gable with stone coping with a blind semi-circular opening in the gable.
Two flush framed sashes to upper floor, single wider sash below. Rear wall
has lean-to and other extensions. One rear stack.
