Stable block
at the Bower House
TQ 59 SW 9/4A 4.7.52.
Circa 1729 by Henry Flitcroft or possibly by Bridgeman who designed the landscape
layout. Stables in front court at right angles to house. Similar materials.
Two storeys with modillion cornice. Slightly projecting sides with large
2 storey rusticated arched panels, 3 central double-hung sashes. Modern bell-turret
astride roof.
